GHD Straightener Changed My Life

This is not me. But this IS how my hair looks without my GHD straightener.

I am big on straightening my hair.  My mama blessed me with some wonderful features, including patience and kindness, but she also decided to pass on her unruly, curly, frizzy hair.  Growing up there was no salvaging my look.  I always pulled my hair back into a ponytail and wore a headband, hoping for the best.  If I tried to fix my hair it would fight back and be poofier than ever.  To say I coveted the straight, shiny hair of my friends would be an understatement.  I would lay at night wondering if I just shaved my head, would it grow back in straight?  Because then it would be worth it!  It wasn’t until I got a GHD flat iron that my whole world changed.  I didn’t have to shave my head.  All I had to do was use the right tools.  I cannot tell you the difference this has made in my life.  I threw away all my headbands - I had quite the collection. I stopped coveting.  I started living.
